There are many supermarkets, a bank, and lots of restaurants within a 10-minute walk from the condo, and the beach area is about a 15-minute walk. The Hotel Area, as it’s called, consists of a string of 4★ and 5★ hotels stretching along approximately 2 km of beach and, as access to all beach areas is available to the public by decree of the Aruban authorities. It is a perfect area to watch the sunset whilst sipping on a cocktail or a glass of wine! Just a couple of hundred yards away from our condo complex is the famous ‘Island Yoga’ facility. It is very popular and if you would like us to make a booking for you let us know in plenty of time.

For the golf enthusiast, there are two golf courses on the island.

Firstly, ‘The Links at Divi Aruba Golf Course’ and is part of the Divi Village complex but is open to visitors. It is a 9-hole course and a bit expensive during the daytime so best to wait until Twilight time after 3 pm.

The other course is the Tierra del Sol Golf Complex. It is an 18-hole PGA course and designed by the legendary Robert Trent-Jones. The views are simply awesome, especially on the front 9 but do bear in mind it is almost always windy so take plenty of golf balls! Clubs, shoes, etc are available to rent. The green fee includes a GPS-equipped buggy. Incidentally, they have a fabulous bar and restaurant and, even if you are not a golfer, it’s a great place to go for a sunset cocktail. And the staff are lovely!

If you have not pre-booked a car rental prior to your arrival at Palm Aruba Condos and you would like one talk to reception and they will assist you. We have a number of local car rental companies that we deal with, and we have had no reports of any issues with them. The one used mostly by our guests is Royal Car Rentals.

Palm Beach offers plenty of water sports companies, piers, beach bars, restaurants, entertainment, casinos, and shops. Two of the largest shopping malls in Aruba, Palm Beach Plaza Mall, and Paseo Herencia, cater to the shopping fever and offer various restaurants, cinema theaters, water fountain shows, game rooms, bowling, arcade games, and Spa facilities. At night this area comes to life as the various lively nightclubs, cafes, bars, and restaurants give an upbeat entertainment experience. Palm Beach, also known as the high-rise area, is a tourism district about 4 miles northwest of Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba. Several exquisite beaches, like Eagle Beach, Hadicurari Beach, Malmok Beach, Boca Catalina Beach, and Arashi Beach are just a few minutes drive away.

Just a stone’s throw away from the Palm Aruba Condos you can find a variety of eating places – from breakfast to dinner, (don’t miss out on Linda’s Pancake House!) a gas station, several convenient stores, a local bank, and the famed Island Yoga – a yoga sanctuary in Aruba.

The resort’s pool area is the place to relax and enjoy the Aruban weather. It is completed with an adult and children’s swimming pool, lounge chairs, and parasols; for use of all guests. Pool towels are provided upon check-in.

The resort features a Fitness Center overlooking the pool area it is fully air-conditioned and equipped with Cross Trainers, Treadmills, Exercise Bikes, and Rowing machines.

Palm Aruba Condos also offers a recreational area with 4 large BBQ grills (available upon reservation), picnic tables, a small kiddies play-ground, and a hard surface tennis and (half) basketball court. Attached to the resort is an Italian restaurant, ’Lucky Luciano’s Pizza Restaurant’ serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Take-Aways.
